Christmas Cheer Cheer<p>​W.C. LIttle will be participating in the Barrie and District Christmas Cheer for the upcoming holiday season.  We have boxes placed in the front foyer for food and unwrapped toys.  Thank you for your support so that everyone may have a wonderful holiday!  <br></p>
Dr. Eva Olsson visits W.C. Little Eva Olsson visits W.C. Little<p>​Dr. Eva Olsson, survivor of The Holocaust, is speaking with our Gr. 6, 7, and 8 students next Monday, Nov. 19th from 11:00 - 12:00 in our gym.  We are asking that each student donate $2 to help cover the cost of the presentation.  A note went home today regarding this special presentation.  Parents are welcome to attend as well.<br></p>
Scholastic Book Fair Book Fair<p>​The<strong> Scholastic Book Fair</strong> is coming to W.C. Little library soon!  Every purchase goes toward supporting literacy initiatives at our school! Please consider purchasing a new book from our book fair by sending in $ with your child or by stopping in yourself.  Get some early holiday shopping done!<br></p><p><strong>Hours of operation:</strong><br>Wed. FROZEN COOKIE DOUGH PICK UP COOKIE DOUGH PICK UP<p>All cookie dough will arrive frozen on Thursday, November 22nd and will need to be picked up between the hours of 2:50 and 6:00 p.m.  We do not have the ability to store frozen items if not picked up.  Gift items and bonus prizes will be available for pick up at the same time.<br></p>

We need Volunteers! need Volunteers! <p>​​​In order for our food programs to be successful, we need a core group of parent volunteers to help run the various programs.  Please indicate areas of interest and let the office know. <br></p><p>Hot Dog days:  Pre/pack and distribute/cleanup/once per month - usually every 3rd Wednesday.  Staggered start times 10:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. <br></p><p>Pizza Fridays:  Distributing pizza based on classroom order/approx 1 1/2 hr commitment on Fridays from 11:45 - 1:15 p.m. <br></p><p>Pizza Thursdays:  When there is a P.A. Day on Friday, pizza ocurs on Thursday.  Disributing pizza based on classroom order/approx 1 1/2 hr commitment on Thursday's from 11:45 - 1:15. <br></p><p>Milk Program:  Fill and distribute milk bags baesd on classroom order and tidy up/ approx 1/2 hr (9:30 a.m. - 10:10 ) commitment on either Monday, Wednesday or Friday. <br></p><p>Thank you for your continuing support.<br></p><p><br></p>

Parents, tell us what you think: survey about climate at school, tell us what you think: survey about climate at school<p>Parents and guardians can provide feedback on the climate at our school through a survey that will be open from January 7 to 25. Parents and guardians with more than one child (in Grades 4 to 8) can complete one survey per child.<br><br>Survey topics include: the overall climate of the school, student well-being, and equity and inclusion.<br><br><strong>Complete the survey now: </strong><a href=""></a> <br><br>A similar survey is being conducted with students and staff. Each school will receive a report of the school results. The Simcoe County District School Board’s (SCDSB) senior administrative team and Board of Trustees also review the board-wide results. <br><br>The data will show our progress over time, and will highlight areas of strength and areas in need of improvement.  <br><br>Student School Climate surveys have been collected since 2007.<br><br>Questions can be sent to <a href=""></a>.</p>
